Who we are
TAG Grinding Services, INC ("TAG Grinding," "we," "us") is a wood-waste recycling and grinding company in Georgia. This policy explains how we handle information for our text messaging program, which we use to run our own business operations. It does not cover marketing, and it is not offered to the general public.
Who gets our texts
Only people who have agreed to receive them: our company management, and delivery drivers who haul material for us. Both join by texting the word JOIN to (470) 348-8239. Company management may also agree by email before any message is sent to them.
What we collect
- Your mobile phone number.
- Your name, truck number and trucking company, so we know who is texting us.
- The messages you send us, such as delivery ticket requests and replies like YES or NO.
- The date and time you agreed to receive texts.
How we use it
- To send and receive delivery ticket requests and approvals.
- To send delivery drivers their daily load schedule.
- To ask our company management to approve or deny purchase orders.
- To send our company management a daily summary of loads hauled, built from our delivery tickets.
- To send our company management a daily summary of Cobb County yard sales, built from our sales records.
- To keep business records of those transactions.
We do not share your mobile number
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information from this text program is never shared with anyone for their own marketing.
To deliver our texts we use a messaging service provider (Twilio) and the wireless carriers. They handle messages only to deliver them for us.
How often you will get texts
Message frequency varies with the work. Company management gets one load summary each evening, and none on a day with no loads, and one yard sales summary Monday through Saturday, and none on Sundays or on a day with no sales. Most people receive fewer than 25 messages a week. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. A long message may be sent as two text messages.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts. You will get one message confirming it, and no more after that.

How long we keep information
We keep ticket and approval records for as long as we need them for our business and accounting records. If you ask us to remove your phone number from the text program, we will.
Security
We store this information in access-controlled business systems and limit it to the people who need it to do their jobs.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version at this address with a new effective date.
